A Long Walk Home is a WIP allegorical horror musical inspired by pagan religions, 19th-century song cycles, German expressionist media, analog technology, and my personal mental health journey. The show follows Alec Kloka, a man forced to carry the family business of clock making as he takes a detour home through the woods. He meets a wide array of potentially supernatural characters as the beautiful winter woods contort into a frightening dream around him. The show would consist of a small cast with actors playing multiple roles, an emphasis on darkness, and the sounds of folk music with a 20th-century flair. A Long Walk Home will be a supernatural cerebral experience about one's place in life and body.
